Someday, I'll grow up to be a swan! Of course, I'd rather be an astronaut.

The Adventure of Young Frankenstein and the Wild Ghost
Wed, 20 Oct 2010 08:04:20 +0000

Young Frankenstein, a small girl named, "Kiara", and a wild ghost lived on the remote Pongo Island. They lived pleasantly on the island, but the wild ghost troubled the villagers days and nights. He wanted to eat a man or a woman everyday. So he came to the village and took someone every night.

However, there was a magic sword, somewhere on the island that can capture and imprison the wild ghost. Young Frankenstein and Kiara took upon themselves to find this unique magic sword; a daring adventure that shall be documented one day. They vowed to put a stop to the menancing wild ghost and bring peace to the village. Luckily for Young Frankenstein, he loved to go on daring adventures. He had always dreamed of being a hero.

After locating the magic sword with Kiara, they returned to face the wild ghost. In a fury, the wild ghost spew its goo-like plasmic breath at Young Frankenstein twice. When Kiara saw that the ghost was too fast for Young Frankenstein to catch it, she quickly decided to distract the ghost herself. With wild ghost's back turned, Young Frankenstein poked the ghost with the magic sword. Surprisingly, upon touching the wild ghost, the magic sword lit up in bright blue and sucked the ghostly spirit into within itself.

That was the last time the villagers had seen the wild ghost. Young Frankenstein still have the magic sword to this day. And the wild ghost is still imprisoned within.

Flower Girl - Jasmine
Thu, 04 Nov 2010 18:06:42 +0000

There once was an innocent sweet girl named Jasmine. Everyone called her flower girl because she sold flowers. Everyone, on Pongo Island, admired her beauty and charm. She was originally from Wonder Island which was closeby. Jasmine's father lost his job and they were forced to move to Pongo Island. Jasmine lived with her father and her brother. Her brother was just 4 yrs old but was very naughty and his name was Ryan. Ryan used to follow her, whereever she went, and he helped her sold flowers. They were poor but they always thanked God for what they had. Jasmine's father was old and could not work anymore, but he wanted Jasmine to have a good life. People of Pongo Island liked Jasmine's flowers and praised her for bringing such a wonderful flowers.

Once a young prince named Harold saw Jasmine in the market selling flowers and fell in love with her. He was confused how to express his feelings for her. But everyday he went to market and bought flowers from her. Harold wanted to marry her but was scared what she would say once she finds out. Jasmine, too, liked Harold but never expressed as she thought she did not deserve him. While Jasmine sold flowers, Ryan always played nearby. One day he saw Harold speaking to his friend about how he loves Jasmine and would do anything for her happiness. Ryan ran to her sister and told her what he heard. Jasmine's eyes filled with tears listening to what Harold said. She ran to Harold and kissed his forehead. Jasmine said that she too loved him but was scared about expressing it to him. With the consent of Jasmine's father they both wed and lived happily ever after with naughty Ryan.

Princess Wind Dancing Playfully Through the Trees
Thu, 11 Nov 2010 19:16:51 +0000

It's a delightfully warm and sunny day on Pongo Island. There's a light and playful breeze dancing and twirling through the leaves of the tall trees, but this lovely breeze has a name, it's Princess Wind. She's that refreshing brush of cool summer air you feel on the back of your neck on the warmest of days, and the mystical breeze that jingles your wind chimes while you sleep, making beautiful music to lull you into the sweetest of dreams. She is the soft whisper of wind that carries your dandelion offerings to the wish fairies, when you close your eyes really tightly and wish with all your might.

Princes Wind has always been, and will always be, on Pongo Island. Since the beginning of Pongo Island time, she has danced her way through the trees, skipped playfully over the water off of Pongo Beach, and offered her help to the busy mothers of Pongo Island, as they dried their clothes in her warm breeze on their clothes lines.

So, as you sit in the sand and see the waves lapping softly at the shores of Pongo Beach, twirl happily in the swirling leaves on a crisp autumn day, or listen in delight to the magical tunes coming from the wind chime outside of your bedroom window, know that it is Princess Wind, and offer a little thanks for the magic she brings into the lives of all the Pongo Island residents.
